Kickstart the New Year with Fun, Fitness, and Family Time!

Families, it’s time to move, play, and get active together! The FACCES Family Fitness Challenge kicks off on January 7, 2025, at the first FACCES Family Fitness Meetup of the year, and we want YOU to be a part of it! 

This exciting event is the perfect opportunity for families of all fitness levels to come together, set goals, and have fun. At the meetup, families will pledge their commitment to fitness by deciding how many times they’ll get active over the next 28 days. Whether it’s dancing in the living room, walking the dog, or playing basketball in the driveway—every move counts! 

We’ll cheer each other on throughout the challenge by sharing our activities on social media, tagging FACCES, and using the official hashtag: #FACCESFamilyFitnessChallenge. Let’s flood our feeds with positivity, movement, and family fun! 

Mark your calendars for February 4, 2025! At the next FACCES Family Fitness Meetup, we’ll celebrate all the amazing things our community accomplished together. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about showing up, getting active, and building healthy habits as a family!

FACCES Family Fitness

FACCES Family Fitness is for those who are interested in getting more active and having fun with their little ones. “Exercise doesn’t need to feel like punishment, but it should feel enjoyable and just a part of your everyday lifestyle that you can incorporate with your family!” – Erika Bell. This summer, join the movement of wonderful families just like yours who are taking steps towards growing and maintaining a healthy family!

FACCES Family Fitness are held the second and forth Saturdays of the month from 9:45AM – 11:00AM, at FACCES. Our address is 2515 Lockbourne Rd. Columbus, OH 43207. Bring the whole family, yes, everyone is invited to share this experience together!

FACCES Healthcare – OSU Medical Center Community Care Coach

The OSU Medical Wexner Center Community Care Coach takes new and follow-up appointments on the FACCES Campus. We encourage you and your family to take advantage of this resource and schedule your appointment(s) today! The special part is that regardless of whether you have insurance or not, all families will be able to take advantage of being seen by the warm and welcoming medical staff!

FACCES Physical Wellness Pillar, aims to advance vitality! Our program focuses on anatomy education, fitness, and healthcare, with the goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle and addressing the healthcare needs of families.  

Our FACCES Healthcare Service collaborates with doctors and nurses to offer regular health check-ups, screenings, and consultations regardless of a family’s ability to pay. All insurance including Medicaid is accepted. Procedures may be billed to insurance. Our goal is to ensure that families have access to necessary medical care and the knowledge to address any health concerns they may have.  

We provide fitness trainers who design fitness activities for group family sessions though our FACCES Fitness Service. Check the FACCES calendar of events to access all the services under the Physical Health Program. Adress your family’s healthcare needs though your FACCES hub.

One of the key components of our Physical Health Pillar is ensuring that families have access to necessary medical care.  

At FACCES, we understand that regular health check-ups, screenings, and consultations are essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We know that transportation and health insurance can sometimes be barriers to consistent healthcare.  

But don’t worry, because FACCES has got you covered! We collaborate closely with doctors and nurses to offer these services to you. We have partnered with The Ohio State Mobile Coach to bring comprehensive healthcare to our location. 

The OSU Mobile Coach’s services include primary care, prenatal women’s healthcare, physicals, health screenings and immunizations, lab services, Covid-19 vaccinations, and much more. Whether you need a routine check-up or have specific health concerns, they are here to provide the care you need for any member of your family. 

The best part is that you don’t need insurance for health screenings. However, if you do have insurance, it can be utilized for services. We want to make sure that everyone has access to the healthcare they deserve, regardless of their insurance status. 

So, if you’re ready to take charge of you and your family’s health, call 614.293.CARE(2273); inform the operator that you want to be seen at “The FACCES location!”. You will be scheduled for a Monday appointment at a time that works for you.
