Celebrate Mental Wellness Month at FACCES!

Let’s Facilitate Joy in the Community.

October is Mental Wellness Month at FACCES, and you and your family are invited to join us! Perhaps one of the most overlooked aspects of our health is our mental well-being. We go about our days doing the best we can with what we have, but we often struggle to stop and ask ourselves: “How am I doing mentally? How are my kids doing mentally? What about my other loved ones?” This self-reflection can be difficult to prioritize amid our busy lives of always going, going, going.

Mental Wellness Month isn’t just for you; it’s for your entire family as well. Taking the time to reconnect on a deeper level with your loved ones will allow you to begin asking these questions and foster healthier bonds with those you love—and with yourself.

Let’s facilitate joy together during the upcoming events listed below:

FACCES Mental Wellness

Mental Wellness Pillar

The FACCES Mental Wellness committee focuses on promoting mental well-being among children and families. The team is made up of educators, psychologists, and behavior health specialists who collaborate with the community to pull together resources to support self-awareness, social awareness, and overall mental wellness for FACCES family members to access under the FACCES hub.

FACCES Pillars are integrated together to form a holistic and comprehensive approach to well-being that can alter the course of one’s life, their legacy, and our community.

Through two key services offered under the mental wellness pillar, youth and families are learning, trying and committing to engaging in meaningful conversation and proven techniques that promote wellness!
