Anthem works to serve the citizens of Columbus, Ohio every day, and wonderful things have been happening! On February 1st, “Go Live” launched its service and became the newest Medicaid provider in the state of Ohio. FACCES attended the Grand Opening of their new downtown Columbus Welcome Center!
Anthem noted FACCES committed stewardship, as being “… vital to the health and success of Columbus neighborhoods.” As part of their celebration, community stewards were presented with Sponsorship Awards for their dedicated service to the residents of Columbus.
FACCES Family Fitness has launched in person fitness classes hosted by Coach Derrione Leeper also known as “Coach Debo” of HOPE Fitness Academy! Families now can participate in the classes held every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 9:00am to 10:00am.
As a former athlete, Coach Debo has experienced and witnessed numerous young athletic injuries. This inspired him to support the youth during their recovery process, and to proactively support young athletes by creating personal training programs to get them stronger.
Through his experience and past successes, he has become motivated to reach a new goal:
“I aspire to help one million people get active, because being fit doesn’t mean you have to lift heavy weights; people just need to get up and get moving…Partnering with FACCES was a no brainer.” Coach Debo also says.
FACCES Family Fitness gives him the chance to give back to the community he grew up in, and most importantly, to impact the youth growing up in the community using fitness too.
Are you and your family interested in getting active?
