C. Scott Anderson serves as FACCES Urban Garden Educator, where he supports community-based gardening initiatives and educational programming. He brings hands-on experience in plant cultivation, community outreach, and project coordination to his work. Since 2023, he has worked as a Project Manager, Estimator, and Laborer for Jacobson Concrete Services LLC, managing project estimates, proposals, scheduling, and process improvements. In that role, he also enhanced safety protocols, streamlined bidding systems, managed media outreach, and supported Spanish-speaking employees through interpretation and training. Previously, he worked as a Greenhouse Laborer at Nightcrawlers Gardens, where he studied plant propagation techniques and supported retail and social media operations.
He is an active Master Gardener Volunteer through The Ohio State University Extension Service, contributing to community garden projects and food pantry initiatives. In addition, he has served as a 4-H Advisor and volunteer, leading youth programming and outdoor education, and was recognized as Outstanding 4-H Alumni in 2025. Earlier in his service, he held multiple PTO leadership roles, managing budgets and coordinating events and fundraisers. He is married and the father of two children, one of whom is pursuing a career in nursing.
